Suwarna is a gold information site for Indian readers in India and abroad. It publishes daily gold and silver rates, gold fund and reserves data, festival buying guides and calculators. This site is operated by Thinking Minds Inc. By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2. Information, not advice
Everything published on this site is editorial content provided for general information. It is not professional advice of any kind. Nothing on this site is financial or investment advice, and nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any product, fund, deposit or currency. Rates, comparisons and calculator results are information only. Talk to a qualified adviser about your own situation before you act.
3. Data, widgets and sources
Daily gold and silver rates are based on the rates published by IBJA. Gold ETF data comes from AMFI, gold reserves data comes from the Reserve Bank of India, and gold news is credited to Mint where it appears. Data widgets on this site show the latest values we hold from those sources. Rates and figures are reference values. They can differ from the quote a dealer, a jeweller, a bank or a transfer service gives you at the moment you transact, and they can be corrected or restated by the source after we publish them.
4. Tools and calculators
The calculators on this site, including the gold calculators, work out estimates from the values you enter and the latest stored rates. A calculator result is an estimate for planning only. The price you pay at a jeweller or a bank can differ because of making charges, taxes, premiums and the rate at the moment of purchase.
5. Games: gold guessing game
In the daily gold guessing game, each person gets one entry per day. Entries are resolved against the published IBJA rates for that day, and results and leaderboards are published on the game page. Games on this site are free, are played for points and standing only, and carry no prizes and no cash value.
6. Your submissions
When you send a message through the contact form or take part in a game or a tool on this site, you agree to be accurate, to send only content you have the right to send, and to send nothing unlawful, harmful or misleading. You keep ownership of what you send. You give us permission to read it, store it and reply to it for the purpose you sent it.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse this site. That includes trying to break or overload the site or its tools, scraping at a volume that harms other readers, impersonating another person, submitting false entries to games or forms, or using the site to break any law. We may remove entries and block access where we see misuse.
8. Intellectual property
The articles, pages, design and original data presentation on this site belong to Thinking Minds Inc. or its licensors. Brief quotes with a link back to the page you quoted are welcome. Copying whole articles, republishing our pages as your own, or removing credit lines is not permitted without written permission.
